Jo Brubaker started a
design business, Leelanau Interiors in 1976 in Glen Arbor. She found
interior design to be a perfect way to combine her artistic talent and
love of the comfort and beauty of Northern Michigan.
Years later, Jo and her
husband Stan invited their daughter, Kristi Jo, to join them. With her
mom’s artistic genes in place, Kristi found her talents were also well
suited to creating warm, inviting spaces in local homes.
 She finally found
what she truly loves to do.
Leelanau Interiors closed
their doors in 2005 to allow Kristi to concentrate on design... what she
truly loves to do. New doors opened soon after as Brubaker Designs where
she continues the Brubaker tradition of providing beautiful, comfortable
interiors.
We
continue to “wow” clients with vibrant colors, unusual accessories,
beautiful fabrics and comfortable furnishings. Every finished
project is a unique reflection of the client's wants and needs along with
Kristi's special sense of warm, inviting, comfort and style. |
